HISTORY:  The Los Angeles Lithuanian American Community, spearheaded by then president Edmundas Kulikauskas, debuted the Lithuanian Fair in 1986 to celebrate Lithuanian pride, heritage and culture. This annual celebration is held in Los Angeles, California on the first weekend of October at the St. Casimir Lithuanian Catholic Church in the Silverlake area.

Dear participants and guests of Los Angeles Lithuanian Days,

We are sincerely pleased and appreciate everyone who join us at the 37th Lithuanian Days in Los Angeles! This is a wonderful event for all of us and has become an annual tradition for many years!

Every year at the Lithuanian Days fair we gather for a common goal of displaying our national customs, cultural values as well as preserving our identity and language. The fair is filled with the sights of Lithuanian folk dancing and entertainment, the sounds of folk songs and the smells of Lithuanian foods, sweets and drinks. This is a wonderful celebration where you can admire the Lithuanian folk art, amber jewelry and souvenirs. This is a time to get reacquainted with old friends and find new ones.

This year Lithuania is celebrating the 700th anniversary birthday of Vilnius. The 37th Lithuanian Days is dedicated to the celebration of this milestone. We welcome three special performers from Lithuania - the folk music band "Sutaras", actor, singer and musician Vidas Bareikis and Lithuanian pop stars Irena Starošaitė and Žilvinos Žvagulis.

Organizations from Ukraine will also participate in Los Angeles Lithuanian Days. The Ukrainian people are still fighting tirelessly for their identity and freedom, so let's contribute and extend our support to Ukraine this year as well.
Adorned with the colors of the Lithuanian flag, let's celebrate Vilnius' birthday, let's celebrate freedom and pass along the precious and rich tradition of Lithuanian Days!

We thank the sponsors and volunteers of the festival. Without their help this festival would not take place.
