SUTARAS is the only Lithuanian art collective that, after the restoration of Independence, represented the musical culture of our country at six global Expo exhibitions (Lisboan 98; Hannover 00; Aichi 05; Zaragoza 08, Shanghai 2010, Milan 2015). Following SUTARAS, many instrumental folklore ensembles and bands were created in Lithuania, whose participants used a variety of instruments to play both the old and later Lithuanian entertainment repertoire, diversified with songs, dances and games. SUTARAS performances do not leave listeners indifferent, wherever they are in Australia, North or South America, Asia, Europe, or their native Lithuania.
Spectators of the biggest concert halls and Lithuanian Song Festivals, the most popular TV shows and traditional evenings, tourists watch and participate in SUTARAS programs, which are recorded on 13 CDs and 3 DVDs of traditional music, and the number of concerts exceeds the limit of 6350. Famous for their ingenuity and originality, SUTARAS artists prepared and recorded special programs with other popular Lithuanian music masters: ethnojazz.lt (with the Vilnius Jazz Quartet) and Lithuanian Folk'N'Roll (with Dainius Pulauskas group).
SUTARAS has repeatedly been announced as the ambassadors of Lithuania in various cities and events around the world, has been awarded with many letters of thanks and the Lithuanian traditional culture award - "Aukso paukštė".
