This year will be especially meaningful for us, as on October 10-11 we will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Los Angeles Lithuanian Days!

 

Our chosen slogan, “40 Years: From One Wave to the Next”, reminds us that Lithuanian identity is not a frozen piece of history. It moves like a wave, traveling through time, through families, through communities, and across oceans. One generation brought it with them, another preserved it, and today a new wave is rediscovering it, nurturing it, and passing it on to future generations. We are celebrating not only a 40-year milestone, but also the living flow of Lithuanian culture that connects Lithuanians in America and Lithuania into one shared, strong, and meaningful story.
