Dear Participants and Guests of Los Angeles Lithuanian Days,

We are sincerely happy and looking forward to meeting you at the 39th Lithuanian Days in Los Angeles! As every year, we invite you to come together for a common goal - to cherish national, cultural values, customs, and preserve our identity and language. We will welcome you with Lithuanian music, dances, traditional dishes and drinks, we invite you to admire works of art and folk art, and to purchase Lithuanian amber jewelry and souvenirs. Do not miss a great opportunity to meet old friends and discover new ones.

This year’s theme – Čiurlionis 150. Throughout the year, in Lithuania and across the world, Lithuanians are honoring the 150th anniversary of the birth of our most celebrated painter and composer, Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis. During the festival, you will have a unique opportunity to explore his work in a specially designed art space located in the Upper Hall. There, you will discover creations by various Lithuanian artists alongside Čiurlionis’ most renowned masterpieces. We are especially delighted to invite you to experience “Trail of Angels” – a breathtaking virtual film that allows you to step inside and become part of Čiurlionis’s paintings.

We sincerely thank our sponsors and volunteers for their generosity and hard work. We appreciate each of your efforts, precious time and attention that you devote to Lithuanian Days. You not only contribute to the success of the event, but also help strengthen the ties of the Lithuanian community, promote the spirit of togetherness and maintain the continuity of Lithuanian traditions.

Warmly,

Tara Barauskaitė
