RASKILA is a folk ensemble from the capital of the Aukštaitija region, Panevėžys, also called Raskila. The ensemble has been nurturing Lithuanian music and song for more than 30 years.  They perform authentic songs and dances of Aukštaitija. The ensemble musical instruments consist of a violin, accordion, bass and drum which are used to play over a hundred traditional Lithuanian folk dances and instrumental music pieces. The older instruments of Aukštaitija also find their place in the repertoire including shudders, horns, smaller horns, kankles. Musicians not only play, sing, but also dance, engaging their listeners in the whirlpool of dance. Folklore ensemble participants wear traditional folk costumes of Aukštaitija region. The ensemble was the winner of the LRT TV show “Duokim garo” for the 2012 - 2013 season. In 2013 Raskila was awarded In 2013 Raskila was awarded the “Golden Bird” as the best folk ensemble in the city.
