LB “Spindulys” (The Sunbeam of Lithuanian Community) is a multigenerational and internationally recognized Lithuanian folk dance ensemble with a rich history and a wide array of activities, performing programs of Lithuanian folk songs and dances for over six decades. Established in 1949 by Ona Razutienė, the group has grown to include over 100 members.

More than just a dance group, LB Spindulys has created children’s music videos, published a pictorial book, and traveled worldwide to destinations including South America, Australia, Japan, and Lithuania. Now directed by Danguolė Razutytė Varnienė, the daughter of the founder, the ensemble has been continually encouraged and supported by generations of parents, alumni, the leadership of the Lithuanian American Community, Inc., St. Casimir’s Parish of Los Angeles, and the Lithuanian Heritage School.
