St. Casimir Lithuanian Heritage School of Los Angeles

St. Casimir Lithuanian Heritage School of Los Angeles was founded in 1949 by Msgr. Jonas Kucingis and has been operating ever since as one of the oldest Lithuanian Heritage Saturday schools in the United States. For its longevity and continued excellence the school has been recognized by the Lithuanian Educational Council of the U.S. and Lithuania’s Ministry of Education. The faculty boasts at least eight educators who, over the years, have been awarded national Outstanding Educator and Amber Apple awards for excellence. Presently over 100 students attend classes from pre-K to 12th grade Saturdays 9:00-1:15pm. An adult language class is also offered. In addition to academics,  performances, commemorations, and preparation for the Sacraments enrich the program. The faculty consists of 20 teachers with advanced degrees and is headed by Director Marytė Newsom. The Parent Committee is vitally involved in all aspects of school life. We have been, and continue to be, Little Lithuania and a second home to children and families in the greater Los Angeles area and environs.
Come join our family!
